1ST Half 

Well the day finally arrived, after 3 weeks of waiting the boys turned up raring to go!
Justin (captain) won the toss, he consulted with Lucas on which end, due to the Sun’s position. Great to see the Boys thinking tactic’s for themselves.
The Game kicked of both teams showing a few nerves , understandably as a lot was at stake …
Opening five minute’s see both teams with corner ball opportunities, but defensives holding strong,
The Lions (WW Greens)  settled  the quicker and after 10 minutes looked fully in their stride playing mostly in the opponents half.
The occasional break by the Town where quickly quashed by Alex & Tom at the back.
The ball passed out from the back  with numerous interchanges in midfield was played thru for Justin on the wing who cut passed his man to unleash an unstoppable shot in to the top of the net   1 - 0 !!!!!
Mo & Hos were working hard in midfield with Trickery from Hos  Messi would be proud of.
Kieran ran tirelessly up & down the left wing fizzing balls across.
Shot’s on goal from the Lion’s were numerous with the Towns keeper by far the busiest, making some v.good save’s .
Then almost a carbon copy of the first goal Justin unleashed another wonder shot, their keeper had no chance   2 - 0 to the lions 

2nd Half  

A Change brought on the Sid, stamping his mark on the game showing great strength and determination. The Lions continued their assault on the Towns Goal with shots hitting the bar, and some last ditch challenges from the Town 
One chance saw Hosni hit a awesome shot on the volley only to hit the upright/or saved?
The Town made a break putting on a late serge for a consolation goal, breaking into the box a strike thru the defence, but Lucas was equal to it and dived to his left to safely secure the ball.
On came Messi Himself ,  Finlay  was put up front to try and ease the pressure as the boys where starting to tire a little ,  Putting himself about and holding up the ball for his team.

Final Whistle 

Champions !!!!!

Fully Deserved the boys shook hands with there opponents & lined up to collect their individual &     
                                     WINNER’S TROPHY CUP
