Pinnacle Football Coaching

A New Approach

Pinnacle Football is a group of F.A. qualified coaches that have been brought together with the aim of improving and also changing the attitudes of both players and parents as to how the game should be taught and also played.

New F.A. guidelines have been announced that will come into place in the next couple of years have outlined that all childrens football up until the age of u12 will be classed as non competitive with no published leagues and scores. Playing formats for certain age groups will also change, 5v5, 7v7, 9v9 and eventually 11v11. The aim of these changes is to try and develop the childrens skills and understanding of the game in a more relaxed atmosphere without the added pressure of playing for league titles, cups etc.

As a company we aim to follow these guidelines, and also introduce structures that will hopefully become the normal policy of football clubs around the country. Other European countries have been coaching young players with the same format for many years that is now being introduced in our country.

OUR COACHING APPROACH

1. To encourage and coach players to be comfortable on the ball and to also never be afraid to try something new.

2. To try and install a train of thought into players that will encourage them to be calmer in match situations. As you will all have noticed our country is one of the only leagues that is played at a hundred miles an hour!!

3. To install a greater awareness of the whole game , and to enccourage all players to be comfortable in any position they play. How many young chidren are told they must be a forward and score all the goals!!!

4. To coach children of all levels and to ensure each individual progresses at thier own pace, while also playing with a smile on thier face.

5.To encourage learning through different methods and coaching styles .

6.To make sure every session as informative and progressive .

7.To constantly monitor strengths and weaknessess in all our players and to coach individually as well as in groups.

8.To Never interfere with players club coaching but to help give all players the oppurtunity to have coaching that is varied and can aid thier progression in the game.

9.To strive to constantly keep up to date with all the latest coaching styles fom around the globe.

10.To make every session as game related as possible.
